The poster for the 2007 Woodstock Film Festival, set to take place Oct. 10-14, is as unique as the festival itself. It was conceived and drawn by famous '60s artist Peter Max, whose cosmic style helped define a generation. "Given Peter's strong positions on environmental, human and animal rights, it's simply the most natural fit that he design our poster," said Meira Blaustein, festival co-founder and executive director, in a news release. "We are thrilled beyond belief to have an artist of his caliber promoting the festival and creating an image that depicts the independent spirit, pursuit of dreams and fun that the festival represents."
