Manuel Lorenzo of Ridgefield Park, N.J., age 77, died May 24, 2007.

He was born in Spain and came to the United States in 1950, and retired in 1991 as a Banquet Waiter for the N.Y. Hilton, where he worked for 30 years. Manuel was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church and a member of the Ridgefield Park Seniors.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Encarna "Nancy" (nee Galvez); loving and devoted daughters, Gloria Esau and her husband, Vic, and Elizabeth Michella and her husband, William; adoring grandchildren: Victor, Andrew, Esau, William Patrick, Sarah, Chelsea and Christopher Michella. He is the dear brother to Maria Haydee Lorenzo and Jose Luis Lorenzo, and is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

The loves of his life were his garden, his family and especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Vorhees Funeral Home, 59 Main St., Ridgefield Park, N.J.;

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Francis R.C. Church in Ridgefield Park, N.J. Interment will be in Hackensack Cemetery.
