Paula E. Cooper of Middletown, a Payroll Clerk at O.C.C.C., and longtime resident of the area, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at home. She was 48.

The daughter of Edward and Patricia Scott Keys, she was born September 15, 1958 in Port Jervis, N.Y.

Survivors include her parents, Edward and Patricia Scott Keys of Middletown; her children: Kawi Scott of Virginia, and Joseph Scott and Sheldon Cooper, Jr., both of Middletown, and her husband, Sheldon Cooper, Sr. of South Carolina. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters: Randy Keys, Douglas Blair, Terri DeLaney and Toni Keys, all of Middletown, her great aunt, Grace Brown of Middletown, as well as her three grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Blair Keys and her grandparents, Virginia Mae and Edward Keys.

Visitation hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, May 29 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 W. Main St., Middletown, N.Y. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Middletown, N.Y.
