Mary J. Post, a homemaker, entered into rest Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Saint Lukes Hospital. She was 69.

The daughter of the late Alphonsus and Theresa Toto Padavano, she was born February 27, 1938 in Brooklyn, N.Y.

She was the wife of the late William Post, Sr., who predeceased her on June 22, 2006. They were married for 49 years.

Mary was a member of the Moose Lodge #969, and the Womens Bowling League.

Survivors include her loving sons, William and Alphonsus Post of Newburgh; her loving daughters, Anna Vingoe of Newburgh, and Marie Balducci and her fiance, Pete Venuti of Maybrook; two brothers, Lawrence Padavano of Wallkill, and Dominick Padavano of Florida. There are 11 granddaughters, one grandson, and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Post is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Padavano and her daughter, Theresa Capwell.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home, Inc., 318 North Montgomery St., Newburgh.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Our Lady of the Lake Church in the Town of Newburgh, Monsignor John Budwick will officiate. Mary will be buried beside her husband in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
