Formerly of Crystal River, Fla.

Daniel J. Lagarino of Marlboro, N.Y., formerly of Crystal River, Fla., entered into rest on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He was 85.

He was born on April 22, 1922 in New Rochelle, N.Y. to Dominick and Dora Santisario Lagarino. He was the widower of Marion Lagarino who predeceased him on August 1, 2006.

He was a retired Musician for the Westchester Musicians Union.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel F. Lagarino of West Haven, Conn. and Larry Lagarino of Marlboro, N.Y.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A family statement reads: "Daniel was a talented and professional musician who played with many big named musicians of his era."

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at The Di Donato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.

Funeral services to be held on Wednesday, May 30 at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
