Town of Wallkill - A man told state police that whoever raided his gym locker yesterday stole a gym bag, a cell phone and a wallet stuffed with $2,000 cash.
Michael Hicks of Port Jervis said that at about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, he went to the new Planet Fitness west of Dunning Road. He put his boots, cell phone and jeans in a locker. The wallet was in the back pocket of his jeans.
Hicks told state police he had forgotten his lock at home.
After working out for about 30 minutes, he went back to the locker room. He said he found his jeans and boots, but everything else was gone.
State police said the gym’s general manager provided police with a list of everyone who worked out between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. that day.
