Saugerties - Things will be getting a little rocky at the New York State Thruway’s northbound Interchange 20 this morning. The Thruway Authority will begin scaling loose rock at that location beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Drivers can expect what the authority promises will be brief traffic stoppages between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews maintain the slope.
The maintenance work is expected to last until Aug. 1.
The authority said in a news release that it “appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding” during the project.
