Mid-Hudson - The Small Business Administration yesterday made a disaster declaration for small businesses in the Hudson Valley affected by the April 16 nor’easter.
Small businesses in Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam and Rockland counties are now eligible for SBA disaster loans.
Under the declaration, aid is available to small businesses and small agricultural cooperatives that suffered economic injury as a direct result of the disaster.
Eligible small businesses may qualify for loans of up to $1.5 million at a 4 percent interest rate.
