Ms. Ann "Annie" Dornblum of Port Jervis, a lifetime resident of the area, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 90.

She was born May 26, 1917 in Windham, Conn., the daughter of the late Max and the late Fannie Katz Dornblum.

Anne worked for Little Tots in Port Jervis, N.Y. She was a member of Temple Beth-El in Port Jervis, where she also served in the Sisterhood of Temple Beth-El.

A family statement reads: "Ann was an extraordinary person and a wonderful cousin. She was devoted to her family and was very family oriented. She was a great reader of books that was only revealed by her vast knowledge of different subjects that would be equivalent to a college degree."

Surviving are her cousins: Seymour Nudleman and his wife, Fauvette of Jupiter, Fla.; Eleanor Applebaum and her husband, Harold of Boca Raton, Fla., and David Nudleman, who was her godchild; Jody Peer and her husband, Anton and their children: Jared, Joshua and Krystle Ann; Michele Delgato and her husband, Louie and Mark Applebaum and his wife, Sharon and their children, Felicia and Brian.

She was predeceased by her Uncle & Aunt who raised her, Joseph & Bluma Nudleman.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Beth-El Cemetery, North Orange St., Port Jervis, N.Y., with Rabbi Dr. Burton Mindick officiating. Burial will be at Beth-El Cemetery, Port Jervis, N.Y.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
