Goshen - A woman driving a Jeep and three children in a pickup truck all went to hospitals in the area after the two vehicles collided just before 7 p.m. yesterday on the Pulaski Highway.
The crash was still under investigation, but state police said it appeared that the driver of the pickup, 38-year-old Michael Burris, turned left out of his driveway, just north of the Big Island intersection, and pulled in front of the southbound Jeep. The Jeep hit the truck broadside.
The woman, who was not identified by police, was taken by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla complaining of chest pains.
Burris wasn’t injured. His children were taken to St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick with minor injuries.
State police said everyone was wearing seat belts. No citations had been issued as of last night.
