Gloria A. Stabach, a housewife and 14-year area resident, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Elant at Goshen, Inc. in Goshen. She was 71.

The daughter of the late James & Hannah Gilleran Cox, she was born on December 25, 1935 in Bronx, N.Y.

She was the widow of Joseph J. Stabach.

Survivors include her sons, Joseph Stabach of Staten Island, N.Y. and Kevin Stabach of New York, N.Y.; daughters, Peggy Sullivan of New York, N.Y. and Colleen Elmendorf of Monroe, N.Y.; brothers, Msgr. James Cox of Bainbridge, N.Y., John Cox of Morristown, New Jersey, and Thomas Cox of Belle Harbor, N.Y.; sisters, Mary Lacombe of Hillsdale, New Jersey and Sister Hannah Cox of Howard Beach, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; nieces & nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Marguerite Regan.

Friends may call on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, with Msgr. James Cox officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.
