David Markowitz, of Goshen, entered into rest on Sunday, July 29, 2007 in Elant at Goshen. He was 87.

The son of the late Samuel & Sophie Chernin Markowitz, he was born on December 14, 1919 in New York City.

He was a member of: Temple Beth Shalom, Florida, N.Y. Mr. Markowitz, along with his wife, Sylvia managed the Clover Leaf Restaurant in Goshen.

Survivors include son, Scott Markowitz & wife Tina of Mount Laurel, N.J.; daughter, Michele Reichert & husband Mark of Ithaca, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Rachael, James, Jessica & Ryan; sister, Sylvia Markowitz of Goshen, N.Y.; several neices & nephews.

Predeceased by wife Sylvia S. Markowitz; son Charles Markowitz; three Brothers, Alexander, Nathan & Isadore Markowitz.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Temple Beth Shalom, 13 Roosevelt Avenue, Florida, N.Y.

Interment will be Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery, Florida, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Goshen Public Library Capital Campaign, 203 Main Street, Goshen, NY 10924.
