Betty entered into peaceful rest at her home in Clintondale, NY, February 25, 2008, surrounded by her husband and children. Betty has graced our lives for 78 years.

The daughter of the late Martin E. Lyons and Eva M. Scott, she was born April 18, 1929 in Milton, NY. She graduated from Marlborough High School and earned her Bachelors degree from New Paltz Teachers College. She taught elementary school until she met and married William H. Walker Jr. in 1954.
