HURLEY — Ulster County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Port Ewen man early yesterday morning and charged him with driving while intoxicated after they received a report of someone throwing beer cans from a vehicle.
When officers stopped the vehicle and interviewed the driver, police said they found an open beer can between the front seats as well as a 30-pack of beer cans with 10 cans missing.
Braiden J. Brink, 22, was charged with felony aggravated DWI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.18 percent as well as multiple traffic charges, the sheriff’s office said.
Brink was released to a family member to reappear in court on March 17.
