PORT JERVIS — A masked man robbed the Burger King on McArthur Circle late Tuesday night and injured one of employees with a knife, police say.
Around 10:25 p.m., a man entered the restaurant through a rear door armed with a small pocket knife. He demanded money and cut one of the employees before fleeing with an unspecified amount of cash, police say. The employee was treated at Bon Secours Hospital for a minor wound and was released.
The suspect was described a 6 feet, 1 inch tall and about 220 pounds, with short hair. He was wearing an oversized white T-shirt. The Port Jervis police K-9 unit assisted officers. Detectives did recover some evidence. Anyone with information should call 856-5101.
