Florence M. Gaudreau of Middletown, a night float Unit Clerk at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, and a lifelong resident of the area, died peacefully surrounded by her family and friends and Thursday, December 23, 2010, at O.R.M.C., Arden Hill Campus in Goshen. She was 47.

The daughter of June Hogencamp Davis Farrier and the late Ernest Davis, she was born January 5,
1963 in Middletown.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Middletown. Florence was of service to her community, being one of the first volunteers in the formation of the Emergency Housing Shelter in Middletown. She was a member of Daughters of America and the Junior Order of Mechanics.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to O.R.M.C., Arden Hill Campus, especially the CCU unit and One North.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald C. Gaudreau Jr. of Middletown; her mother, June Davis Farrier and her husband, Roland; her stepdaughters: Suzetta Alicea and her husband, Jorge, and Geraldine Gaudreau, both of Middletown; three grandchildren; her sisters, Jeannette Davis and her husband, Joseph M. Coleman Jr. of Montgomery, Ernestine Hansen of Middletown, Alice Cherry of Chattanooga, TN, and Cathy Hess of Clovis, NM; her brother, Clifford D. Davis of San Antonio, TX; her nieces, Cheri Sundarum and her husband, Senthill of Cary, NC, Nicole Rumsey and her husband, James, and Lisa Cherry, all of Middletown. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 W. Main St., Middletown. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, at Grace Episcopal Church, North St., Middletown.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Pine Hill Cemetery, Town of Wawayanda.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., the Diabetes Foundation, the American Red Cross, or to a charity of one's choice.
