HARRIS — Four people were wet but unhurt when a car lost control on an icy road near Catskill Regional Medical Center and plunged into the East Mongaup River around 5:30 p.m. Friday, said Dick Martinkovic, the Sullivan County public safety commissioner.

The Subaru lost control near a bridge on Harris Bushville Road. It went over a snow bank into the river, landing on its roof, said Martinkovic.

The occupants were all out of the car when state police, Mobilemedic and the Swan Lake Fire Department responded to the scene around 5:40 p.m., he said.
