MIDDLETOWN - A Chester man has been charged in a Feb. 19 burglary at Dino’s Deli in Middletown after police say they recovered burglar’s tools and syringes when he rolled up a snow bank in front of a patrol car Thursday.

Officer George Neilson spotted the car nearly drive up the sidewalk and then arrested Joshua Edwards, 25, after finding the syringes. Officers later recovered pry bars believed to have been used in the Dino’s deli burglary. Edwards was charged with felony burglary, and misdemeanor possession of burglar’s tools and of a hypodermic syringe.

He was arraigned and taken to the Orange County Jail.
