A Flod Watch is in effect until 10 a.m. for Orange and parts of Ulster counties Monday morning as heavy rain with continuous snow melting could make for dangerous driving condtions. Some parts of Sullivan County could experience freezing rain in the morning.

The entire region will see rain showers with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall this afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers in the evening...then mostly clear after midnight. Breezy with lows in the lower 20s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.
