SOUTH FALLSBURG - A South Fallsburg man has been indicted on the charge of second-degree murder in a Jan. 15 stabbing at the Beverly Garden Apartments in Fallsburg.

Armando Peres, aka “Anibal” aka Anivar Flores, 27, is accused of stabbing Ederaldo Pineda, 40, multiple times with a knife in the chest. A Sullivan County grand jury also indicted Peres for criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.

Peres, who is in the Sullivan County Jail, faces a minimum of 15 years to life and a maximum of 25 years to life in prison if convicted of the murder charge.
