Lawrence O'Connor passed away on September 4, 2016.
He was born in the Bronx on June 1, 1966 to Lawrence O'Connor, Sr. (dec'd) and Laura Zanga O'Connor. He lived there until he was 9, when he moved to Monroe, residing in Monroe until after he graduated from Washingtonville High School in 1984.
Lawrence's travels took him to the Caribbean, where he met his wife. Many years later, he relocated with his family to Eureka, California. There, he operated a farm until his sudden death.
He is survived by his mother, Laura; sisters, Michele and Karen; brother, Michael; wife, Stephanie ; five children: Lawrence, Kelly, Ilene, Patrick, and Michael; granddaughter, Isabella; and several nieces.
As a youth, he was an avid reader and a bright student, playing in the school band and running cross-country track. He was an active Boy Scout and in 1983 he achieved the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Unwavering in support of his family and friends, Lawrence was boisterous, adventurous, and fearless until the end. Irie.
