Michael A. Dumovich, Jr. passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, with his loving wife, Barbara, by his side. He was 76. Son of the late Michael A. Dumovich, Sr. and Anne Schrobat Dumovich, he was born on May 19, 1940 in Brooklyn.
Michael was the owner of Mike's Scrap Metal Business in Monroe, NY. He attended St. Nicholas School in Brooklyn and was a retired truck driver from Teamsters Local 560 & 707. He was a member of N.R.A. of America, member of Orange County Antique Auto Club and a member of the Jolly Senior Citizens of Monroe.
Michael is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara A. Bishko Dumovich of Monroe; his sisters: Dorothy Dodig and Joan Kistinger, both of Saugerties; his brother-in-law, John Bishko of Tuxedo; his sister-in-law, Mary Jane Romansky and her husband, John of Garnerville, and many adoring nieces and nephews with whom he shared his life.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 22nd, at St. Anastasia Shrine Church, 21 North Main Street, Harriman, NY. Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.
