Warwick, NY

Allison Lorraine Kidney of Warwick, NY passed away on January 6, 2018. She was 16 years old.

Born in Stupino, Russia, August 18, 2001 in the Moscow region, and named Elena, a name she later accepted at her confirmation. Allison was adopted in 2002 by her parents, Bryan and Kristine (Turner) Kidney.

Ally played lacrosse on the Varsity team as a goalie. She loved photography. She loved to eat pasta, too; so much so that her father called her "Noodle."

Ally loved her family, especially her brother and her aunts; spending time with her cousins and they enjoyed their "girl cousins weekends" together. She loved her friends and spending time with them. She was a great swimmer, loved the beach and the water, and loved taking trips to the shore.

Allison could light up a room with her smile and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Ally is survived by her parents, Bryan and Kristine Kidney; her brother, Ian; paternal grandmother, Lois Kidney; maternal grandparents, Katherine and Peter Turner; many aunts and uncles and many cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Richard Kidney.

The family would like to thank the Warwick Police Department for their support and professionalism; and also Father Richard and St. Stephen's Church, and their friends, Pete Easop and Jeff and Jen Peterson who were there in a moment's notice.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A mass on Thursday, January 11, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church. Interment will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery.
