Karmella Ashley Fields was born January 14, 2005 in Brooklyn, NY to her parents, Angelique Dukes and Craig Fields.
Karmella attended BOCES School on Gibson Road in Goshen, NY. She liked to be on her tablet. She loves to watch TV, especially Tom n Jerry, Clifford, and Super Why. She enjoyed all cartoons.
She loved to play in water and loved dogs, especially when they would bark. Her favorite color was red.
Karmella Ashley Fields is survived by her mother, Angelique Dukes of Middletown; her father, Craig Fields of Brooklyn; her stepfather, Benny Harris of the Bronx; brothers: Craig Ferguson, Malcolm Fields, and Darvell Fields, all of Queens and Jermain Miller of Albany; her sister, Katrina Fields of Staten Island; her grandmothers, Beulah Dukes of Manning SC and Frances Fields of Queens; her uncles: Gregory Dukes, Jerry Fields and Tyrone Fields, all of Queens; her two sisters-in-law, Michele Rogers of Queens and Rhonda Miller of Albany, in addition to her Aunt Lois High of Middletown; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Karmella was a wonderful daughter who had autism. She experienced a lot of obstacles along the way. She suffered from a lot of seizures, but she overcame her fears and challenged those seizures. Karmella was loved by everyone. She had a beautiful smile and laugh. I learned so much from Karmella as she kept me grounded. She was my rock.
