Leonard Victor passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on September 28, 2018.

Lenny was born in Bronx, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rose Victor; son, Joel Victor and daughters, Barbara Victor and Paula (Rodger) Griffin. Lenny was the son of Fred and Pearl Victor.

After graduating from DeWitt Clinton High School, Bronx, NY, he enlisted with the Marines and fought in the Korean War. Upon his return, he enrolled in NYU, where he met his wife while playing ping pong. Lenny graduated NYU with a degree in Education and taught in the Monticello Central School District, for 34 years.

Not only did Lenny devote his life and love to his wife and family, but also to his communities. In Monticello, he was a volunteer EMT for over 20 years, Councilman, Deputy Mayor and Trustee on the town board. After retiring, he and his wife, Rose, moved to Delray Beach, FL in 1996, where they led a very active life. Lenny had a way of making everyone feel comfortable, always putting a smile on their face.

Lenny was laid to rest at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
