John R. Palmer Jr., 28 of Maybrook, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Long Island.
John was the son of Deborah Gardner Palmer and the late John R. Palmer. He was a graduate of Valley Central High School and had attended Dutchess Community College.
John was a truck driver for Baxter Healthcare in Montgomery, NY delivering medical supplies.
John's happiest moments were when he was spending time with his daughter, Aubrey. He was looking forward to her second birthday in a few weeks.
John is survived by his daughter, Aubrey Palmer; mother, Deborah Palmer; sisters, Tiffany Paul and her husband, Jesse of Maybrook, and Kelly Lacrosse and her husband, Bill of New Orleans, LA; his daughter's mother, Brittney Peiffer of Highland, NY; uncle Edward Palmer Jr. and his wife, Evalyn of St. Augustine, FL; uncle, Douglas Gardner and his wife, Dorothea of Wappinger Falls, NY; grandmother, Joan Palmer of St. Augustine, FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 10th at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Cremation will be held privately.
