Defending Patriot League champion Army will open the 2019 season against service-academy rival Air Force, in Baton Rouge, La., on Feb. 15. The Black Knights will face Louisiana State on Feb. 16 and Louisiana-Monroe on Feb. 17.
Before hosting its first home game, Army plays a four-game set at Longwood (Va.); faces Saint Joseph’s, Fairleigh Dickinson and Tulane in Cary, N.C.; play three games at Houston; two games at Stephen F. Austin; and, three games at Ohio University.
The home opener is March 20 against Hofstra. Bucknell (March 23) and Navy (March 24) visit for Patriot League openers. Cornell, a Manhattan twinbill, Sacred Heart and Columbia and Villanova visit West Point as well.
The annual Hudson Valley Baseball Classic with Marist takes place April 24 at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill.
Army plays an April 20 twinbill at Navy and a single game on April 21, a noon contest to be televised by CBS Sports Network.
Army was 37-24 last season and 18-7 in Patriot League play. Army won a three-game semifinal with Bucknell and two-game final with Navy. In NCAA play, the Black Knights upset North Carolina State in the opener before falling to Auburn and N.C. State.
