West Point Band's Concert Band puts on a show "The Army Goes Rolling Along" 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the Army's 243rd birthday. Join the festivities on the historic grounds of the U.S. Military Academy overlooking the Hudson River at Trophy Point Amphitheater. The performance kicks off with a streamer ceremony and ends with cake. Bring a blanket or chairs. Concert is free. RSVP and info at westpointband.com

Wander among the art at Orange Square in Port Jervis, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. as some 35 local artists, including Susan Miiller, above, gather to exhibit, paint en plein air and sell their works. Art in the Park offers a grand variety of art from abstracts to landscapes, flowers to figures. Several performers will be providing musical duets. The park is located between Sussex and Pike streets. Rain date, Sunday.
