WARWICK - Award winning artist Susan Hope Fogel has been named a Signature member of The American Watercolor Society, an honor awarded after the artist has been accepted into three of the Society's annual international exhibits. Fogel's work has been accepted into the international shows for the past three years.

This year 110 artists were chosen for this show from among 1,100 entries submitted from around the world. The 152nd Annual International Exhibit of the AWS will be held April 1-21 at the Salmagundi Club in New York City. A gala dinner will be held to present new members with their Signature membership.

Fogel teaches workshops in experimental watercolor in her Warwick studio and teaches oil and pastel painting at The Ridgewood (N.J.) Art Institute. She has led plein air workshops in Italy, Ireland, Cape Cod and the Hudson Valley. The Carrie Haddad Gallery in Hudson, and Art Suite Gallery in Piermont both represent her watercolor paintings.

Fogel has had her work published in in numerous professional magazines, including "American Artist," "American Artist-Masters Show You How," and "Splash 18." Two articles about her work were published in "Art Times Journal."
