NEW PALTZ - An Ulster County grand jury will be asked to consider charges that Kevin Guerrero, a 20-year-old Marine who is already charged with raping a female SUNY New Paltz student, sexually abused not one, but two other female students, prosecutors said on Wednesday.
One of those young women testified against Guerrero, of New Windsor, at his preliminary hearing at New Paltz Town Court on Tuesday.
The college junior told the court that Guerrero entered her off-campus apartment in the Village of New Paltz by pushing in the air conditioner and awoke her by touching "the right side of my butt," before fleeing.
Guerrero also faces misdemeanor charges of forcible touching in connection with the same two young women that he is accused of sexually abusing.
He's charged with separate burglaries for illegally entering the three off-campus apartments and a business.
He also charged with petit larceny for stealing a drink glass and a Corona beer while inside the business.
According to investigators, Guerrero did not know any of his victims. He has been a member of the Marine Corps at Stewart Air National Guard Base for the past eight months.
