Milford's ninth annual Share The Harvest party will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church Hall, 4th and East High Streets, to benefit the local Ecumenical Food Pantry.

Thanks to those who participated last year, Milford Presents/Milford Music Festival was able to make a $2,000 cash donation and significant food donation to help neighbors in need. The goal is to match that donation this year.

The event will feature favorite dishes from a dozen Milford food purveyors, including The Laurel Villa, Fretta's Italian Specialities and The Waterwheel Cafe, live music by Leo B, and more than 50 prizes, original artwork and gift cards donated by area businesses.

Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the party. Each item is a chance to win; bring 10 items, receive 10 raffle tickets. There is no limit to the amount of pantry items guests can donate. Prizes include gift certificates and gift items from local stores. Also, 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold, with a cash prize estimated at $250.

In addition to the Milford Presents donation, the United Way of Pike County will be making a special presentation to the food pantry this year.

Tickets are limited to 150 guests and sold in advance. They are available at The Craft Show, 120 E. Harford St., and TLC Salon & Spa, 801 Broad St. Tickets are $30 in advance or $50 per couple. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $40, though it is best to purchase in advance.
