RED HOOK — If you’re looking for answers to questions about Medicare, come to "Medicare 101" at 1 p.m., Sept. 29, at the Red Hook Public Library, 7444 S. Broadway, Red Hook.
A specialist from the Dutchess County Office for the Aging will be at the library to present a comprehensive overview of how Medicare works. Topics will include the various parts and how they work together, supplemental insurance and what is available in the region, enrollment and the Annual Election Period, and how to obtain individual assistance. Attendees will also have the chance to ask additional questions.
