GARDINER - The Gardiner Library's free high school science tutoring will now be available in an on-demand format. Those who would like a free one-hour one-to-one tutoring session in biology, inorganic chemistry (general chemistry), organic chemistry or physics can email Sandy Gill at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a day and time.
Harsangeet (Sandy) Gill graduated summa cum laude and with high honors from Queens College with a degree in biology and minor in chemistry and is a member of the Biology and Chemistry Honors Society. She is a prospective medical student in the midst of applying to medical schools. Harsangeet is an adjunct lecturer at Queens College and teaches general chemistry recitations and labs. She has also taught invertebrate zoology and basic organic chemistry. Harsangeet has been a volunteer tutor for introductory biology (for pre-meds) and upper level biology classes like genetics, cell biology, and evolution. She says she loves teaching because she gets to learn while giving back to society.
