The National Weather Service on Monday issued winter weather advisories for Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties ahead of Tuesday's expected snowfall.

The advisories run through 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sullivan, through noon in Orange and through 8 p.m. in Ulster.

The weather service expected accumulations of 3-5 inches in Orange, 2-4 inches in Sullivan, with 5 inches in higher elevations, and 3-7 inches in Ulster. Ulster can also expect an additional 1-3 inches to fall Tuesday night into Wednesday evening.

Orange and Ulster will see high temperatures in the upper 30s on Tuesday, while Sullivan can expect highs in the mid to low 30s.

Drivers can expect slippery roads conditions, including during the morning commute.
