SAUGERTIES — Five teenagers have been charged in a break-in last month at the Cantine Memorial Sports Complex on Bob Moser Drive.
Saugerties police said two 13-year-old boys, a 14-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl forced their way through a door on the second floor of the complex on Aug. 27. While inside, they allegedly kicked open a door to a storage area, causing $500 worth of damage to the door and its frame.
A two-week investigation led to the identification of the suspects. They were charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, both felonies.
