WARWICK — While the 2018 Stars in the Valley Quilt Show has been cancelled, with a new date to be announced soon, because of conflicts with Applefest, the Warwick Valley Quilters Guild will still be holding their Quilt Raffle with the drawing taking place Oct. 14 at 4 p.m. at Applefest.

“Possibilities,” the 2018 Raffle Quilt, is a queen-or king-sized quilt made from two traditional quilt blocks with the updated twist of modern, monotone fabrics.

Designed by Tula Pink, the quilt has both bright colors and shades of gray against a white background. The reverse side is a layout of the same fabrics used for the front.

Raffle tickets are $5 and can be purchased at wvqg.org or visit the Guild’s booth on Oct. 14 at Applefest. There will also be a drawing of a second prize of a ScanNCut Fabric Cutter donated by Sew-Cology in Warwick and third prize will be a Babylock “Amelia” sewing machine donated by Above and Beyond Creative Sewing in Nanuet.
