MILFORD, Pa. - Bring the whole family to “A Family Christmas” concert on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 at St. Thomas The Apostle Church and Milford United Methodist Church.

The Delaware Valley Choral Society, under the direction of Jeffrey Fornoff, will be performing with the Dingman-Delaware Children’s Choir directed by Brian Krauss and the Handbell Choir of the Milford United Methodist Church.

Included in the concert will be a performance of “Anthems for the Season of Christmas” by local composer R. Wayne Walters, now serving as adjunct professor of music at the College of Saint Elizabeth. Also on the program will be a cantata titled “A Family Christmas” performed by singers of all ages, including the Dingman-Delaware Children’s Choir.

The two performances of “A Family Christmas” will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 1 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 210 Route 206 North in Sandyston, N.J., and at 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Milford United Methodist Church 206 East Ann St., Milford, Pa. Tickets for these concerts are $15 for adults and $10 for children. The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a nonprofit group dedicated to performing major choral works in their original form. The Society incorporates aspiring musicians from the area as well as professional musicians. New singers are always welcome to join the Choral Society at the beginning of each rehearsal season.
