In all, more than 255 women from throughout Orange County have been recognized since the award's inception in 1992.

"Highly accomplished women, from all walks of life, live, work, and volunteer in our community," said Eileen Hickey, director of business operations for Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson. “We want to learn more about them. We encourage people to nominate the women of achievement in their lives and help share their stories."

The 2019 honorees will be recognized at the Annual Tribute to Women of Achievement dinner held on May 8, 2019.
