It was a festive afternoon at Schervier Pavilion on Dec. 31. Residents and their family members were provided with traditional hats and noisemakers and celebrated with non-alcoholic sparkling wines, finger foods and special desserts. The highlight of the afternoon, however, was a musical performance of both holiday and old time classics by popular singer and guitarist Marty Koppel. “We hosted this and other events to give our residents and their families an opportunity to share a holiday tradition,” said Schervier Pavilion Director of Recreation Kari Call. “We’re happy that our residents were able to enjoy a New Year’s Eve party and this performance by Marty Koppel.” [Photos by Roger Gavan]
