CORNWALL – The Cornwall Public Library at 395 Hudson Street in Cornwall will host a new bilingual family story time, ¡CUENTOS! Bilingual Story Time, beginning Jan. 19.

The program will be hosted by Angie Fiorentino, a high school Spanish teacher who lives in New Windsor with her three children. Fiorentino’s native language is English, and she is fluent in Spanish and Italian as well. She is excited to begin the new bilingual story time in hopes of sharing her love of languages with children and parents in the Cornwall community.

The program will feature songs and stories, and kids will learn basic Spanish words. It’s a family event for kids ages 18 months and older. The program begins at 9:15 a.m. and will last about 30 minutes. It will run on four subsequent Saturdays: Feb. 23, March 16, April 13 and May 18. Registration is not required; just drop in, join the fun, and learn Spanish.
