GOSHEN - The grand opening of the Goshen Public Library’s new building at 366 Main St., slated for Saturday, has been postponed until further notice, library officials said on Friday.

The culprit: The rainy weather has delayed some of the work, which in turn has delayed the library’s temporary certificate of occupancy, said library Trustee Emily Collado.

They’re hoping to reschedule the grand opening for mid-June, she said.

Events planned for Sunday at the library were also postponed.
