PORT JERVIS - Police have charged a Port Jervis 19-year-old with stabbing another man last week.
Port Jervis police said that on the evening of Sept. 8, at the intersection of Pike Street and Main Street, Ricky Hill stabbed the 23-year-old victim in the abdomen, seriously injuring him.
The victim got emergency medical treatment at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, and is recovering, police said.
Police charged Hill that night with first-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, felonies. He was arraigned and sent to Orange County Jail on $100,000 bail, awaiting grand jury action.
