KINGSTON — An Ulster County grand jury indicted a Kingston man on murder charges in the stabbing death of another man in the Town of Ulster.

Ulster County District Attorney Holley Carnright said the medical examiner ruled that the victim, Guy Andradez, died from multiple stab wounds. Andradez’s body was found on Aug. 9 in a wooded area near the Kingston traffic circle.

The next day, police arrested Lance Ferguson, 36. On Tuesday, the grand jury handed up an indictment charging Ferguson with second-degree murder.

Carnright said the indictment charges Ferguson with intentionally killing Andradez.

Ferguson remains in Ulster County Jail without bail, awaiting arraignment later this week in Ulster County Court.
