MONTICELLO — Two Sullivan County men were sentenced Wednesday for a home burglary in the Town of Fallsburg last year, District Attorney James Farrell said.

Edward Webb, 26, of Hurleyville, was sentenced in county court to eight years in prison and Larigo Male, 19, of Loch Sheldrake, got five years in prison after they pleaded guilty to a felony charge of second-degree burglary, according to a news release from Farrell.

Webb was sentenced as a second-felony offender due to a previous felony conviction of third-degree burglary in 2015.

The burglary occurred in October 2018 while the homeowners were at the Fallsburg Police Department to report assault and menacing by Webb and Male that involved metal knuckles and a BB gun, Farrell said.

Webb and Male admitted to entering the home and stealing a large-screen television, according to the release.

The court also issued an order of protection for the victims.
