BLAIRSTOWN — Several occupants of a tour bus suffered non-life-threatening injuries resulting from a crash involving a tractor-trailer early Tuesday morning, police said.
According to State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele, the bus was traveling east on Route 80 when it struck the rear of the tractor-trailer near mile post 8.9 at 5:37 a.m.
Of the 48 passengers on the bus, five were taken to the hospital with injuries that did not appear to be serious, police said. Neither the bus driver nor the tractor-trailer driver reported any injuries.
