FALLSBURG — The Board of Education Policy Committee, for the very first time, met and reviewed applications that they received for the Wall of Coaching Distinction Plaque. The plaque was created as a means of recognizing great coaching accomplishments. Many Fallsburg coaches have made great contributions to the lives of student-athletes over the years in various sports and sporting programs. This plaque honors the contributions and accomplishments of those individuals who, through coaching, have made a difference in the lives of students.

Following a discussion and review process, the Board of Education approved the following individuals as Fallsburg’s first Wall of Coaching Distinction inductees: Martin Van Vleet and Jim McDermott.

An induction ceremony will take place at the March 18 Board of Education meeting.
