McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, including 22 in the Hudson Valley, will be providing free “Thank You” meals to local health-care workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics through May 5.

The free meals program began Wednesday.

The “Thank You” meals, available during breakfast, lunch or dinner, will be served in McDonald’s iconic Happy Meal boxes, along with a note of appreciation for the medical workers and first responders’ efforts to keep an area hard-hit by COVID-19 safe and healthy.

Customers only have to show their work badge to get a meal.
