MIDDLETOWN - Four Middletown High School teachers took home district 3D printers to produce face masks for local police departments.

Technology instructors John Fallonsbee, Cerima Thomas and Sean Sweetser, along with department chair Elle O’Connor, made 300 masks using ink provided by the school and plastic from converted diploma covers, according to a news release from the district.

The masks are being distributed over the next few days to the City of Middletown, Town of Wallkill and state police departments.
