Newton – One of the world’s largest digital newsstands, RBdigital, is now available to Sussex County Library cardholders through sussexcountylibrary.org. The newly enhanced collection features over 2,400 subscription magazines from The Economist to Us Weekly, and more than 1,900 single/special collectors’ issues.
These full-color, digital editions are available for instant desktop reading, mobile streaming and mobile-app download. There are no holds, no checkout periods, and no limits to the number of magazines checked out. Current issues are released simultaneously with print editions and are available for immediate viewing. Back issues remain always-available.
To get started go to sussexcountylibrary.org/digital-magazines/. Start reading immediately by logging in on the RBdigital website, or follow the links to the appropriate app store to download a mobile app. Users will need an email address and the barcode from the back of their Sussex County Library System library card to create an account. All Sussex County residents, students, workers and property owners (except Sparta) are eligible for a free library card, and can apply online at sussexcountylibrary.org/get-library-card/.
With so much content, knowing how to search is also key. Once on the RBdigital home page, holdings can be viewed alphabetically, searched by title or narrowed down by a wide range of genres from Adult Coloring Book to Women. When choosing a title check the "automatically checkout next issue" box and never miss an issue of your new finds.
