It is said that adversity does not build character, but rather reveals it. To test the veracity of this statement, one need look no further than last week's senate confirmation hearings. Dr. Ford, despite being admittedly "terrified," conducted herself with courage, dignity and class. In contrast, Judge Kavanaugh displayed behavior which cannot be tolerated by someone who seeks a lifetime appointment to our nation's highest court. His bombastic display of anger, evasiveness and arrogance makes one question whether he has the temperament to serve as a federal judge on any level. Should he find himself unemployed, however, I am sure that he will be able to find a job as a spokesperson for a beer company.
